🪝Scope of Governance & Change Boundaries

A robust DAO does not micromanage; it sets adjustable ranges and priorities. In Loop’s current scope, governance focuses on parameters with public-risk or system-stability implications and imposes high thresholds and time-delayed enactment, with versioned records for post-hoc review:

Primary objects of governance

  • Community Fund usage and budgeting (sources, use cases, release gates).

  • Governance identity thresholds(e.g.,2,000 LOOP stake,90-day minimum).

  • Profit-sharing basis(e.g., rules and weights for the0.23%daily profit allocation).

  • Eligibility & caps tied to Points/LP/limits(to deter short-term gaming).

Change boundaries

  • High-majority approval and time-delay activation for key proposals.

  • Parameter versioning and execution tx hashes posted on-chain to preserve an auditable history.

This turns “ad-hoc tuning” into institutionalized modification, giving future reviews a clear evidentiary trail.
